HanoijohnPC hasn't been in Hanoi for two years now so it's probably best start over.  I've got high hopes of discipline.  Regularity.  Consistency.  Insight.  But if I write a little just a few times a month it will be success of sorts.  Just a little report of the view from my swallow's nest in the Kingdom Gardens.

That's a start, right?  Just that.  People don't want to read too much for too long.

So the plan is to write about it all.  The books, the movies, the travel, the teaching.  But mainly Beijing. The problem is figuring out whether people want to read about me or is it more likely they'll follow the "adventure," as it's so frequently put to me.

It's Sunday morning after a good night's sleep.  Things look different from this perspective.
